A mother’s perspective on the joys and sorrows of family life.

A mother’s perspective on the joys and sorrows of family life.

Krista is a wife and mother who, with her wonderful husband, is trying to raise seven much wanted and prayed for, crazy, stubborn, ornery, silly children to become saints. Most of her adult life has revolved around children either through her past life of teaching, her own children, youth evangelization at church, or babysitting. Krista also enjoys reading, writing, cooking, helping others with life’s struggles, discussing faith, learning about saints and the Eucharist, and is a huge science nerd. She has a strong devotion to Mary through Schoenstatt and the rosary, has witnessed some pretty amazing miracles, and is involved with CRHP.

In her words: I feel that there is great value in sharing the ups and downs of life not just the polished parts.  It’s in sharing these “testimonies” that Christ can shine through. I only hope that by reading bits and pieces of my life that Christ is able to shine through the words I share. Some of my reflections are present day thoughts that I have, and a lot of what I share are from past experiences. In sharing those past experiences I hope to begin compiling my writings into a bound book. (I expect this to take some time, because, well, first and foremost I have to fulfill my vocation as a wife and mother.)  If you are interested in receiving a bimonthly reflection (at least for now, they may eventually become more frequent), you can sign up by clicking below.

Learning to Trust

Krista speaks about God’s boundless love and goodness as she shares her testimony of learning to trust in Him in every circumstance. During her talk, Krista (a mother of seven) reflects on how she saw God working in her life, even before she had the faith foundation to fully understand His love. More specifically, Krista talks about how she learned (and is still learning) to trust in God’s goodness, even through the trials and tribulations that have come along the way.
