Inspired by some of her young nieces who took an interest in tap dancing right before her very eyes, Julia Monnin dusted off her childhood tap shoes (she danced from ages 4–14) and started a “Little Tappers” group for young girls in the Fall of 2025. During these most joyful monthly sessions, the girls learn a little about St. Thérèse, journal, pray together, and of course tap. It’s such a delight!

“Little Tappers” is off for the summer, but we’re currently working on scheduling more classes for the ’26-’27 year. Register below to sign up your little one for either the Friday Morning (from 10–11:30am) or Thursday Evening (from 5–6:30pm) sessions.

Classes meet once a month, are open to girls ages 4–14, and are geared towards beginner level tappers. Both the Friday AM and the Thursday PM sessions are located in the Hall at St. Lawrence Church in Rhine, OH. There is no cost to attend, but Free Will donations to JRM are gratefully accepted.

Note: Those who are bringing the girls to class are invited to stay for fellowship and prayer with the other adults. Adults are welcome to use the back room in the Hall for fellowship and faith formation and/or to spend time in St. Lawrence Church for private prayer. (On Thursday evenings, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered from 5-6:00pm in the church.)
