2025 Year in Review
A Year of Hope.
We just finished celebrating a Jubilee Year in the Church. The 2025 Jubilee was titled “Pilgrims of Hope” and hope has certainly found a welcome home in the soul of our little apostolate. We’re grateful for God’s providential care for us and for the countless gifts and graces He poured into our lives throughout the year.
As you’ll see in reading this 2025 Year in Review, we brought out some of the “old” last year like our annual “The World Is Noisy – God Whispers”® Retreat and our “In Persona Christi” Pilgrimage to Cincinnati. But we’ve also embarked on some “new” like a Study for Priests and Seminarians on St. John of the Cross and a “Little Tappers” class for young girls. (Yes, you heard us, TAP!) After all, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring [the] good news!” (Romans 10:15).
Of course, as the heartbeat of our ministry, we’ve continued to walk with those feeling called to share “the story of their soul” and officially added three more writers to the JRM family. You’ll learn about them in this Year in Review, too.
Oh, and what’s more, your financial support this past year has been like no other! Generously you have given and gratefully we have received. Month after month the Lord gave all that we needed to continue this work. Through you, He provided (and continues to provide) for each and every one of our financial needs. THANK YOU for sharing His great love with us as we continue to share this great love of His with others. May He continue to draw near to us all as we “Spread the Love of Jesus by sharing the Stories of our Souls, One Intimate Moment at a Time.”

Next, she traveled to Russia, OH to St. Remy Church for a Day of Reflection held on March 15. And she finished in Morrow, OH on April 5 with a Women’s Day of Renewal at St. Philip the Apostle Church. The talks in Russia and Morrow were mini-versions of an 8-part series she hosted in the Fall of 2024 on St. Mary Magdalene: The Apostle to the Apostles.

Easter Prayer Series
In April and May, Julia Monnin led a small group through Part IV of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (the section on prayer) in a Journeys Revealed Ministries’ An Intimate Sharing Between Friends series. Julia enthusiastically described the small group gatherings as “fruitful” and “enlightening.” You can learn more about the series here and listen to session four of this six-part series on The World Is Noisy – God Whispers® podcast here. SEPTEMBER 27 – OCTOBER 8
Pilgrimage to France
This past Fall, Journeys Revealed Ministries (through St. Charles Pilgrimages) hosted [quite literally] a coast-to-coast, 12-day pilgrimage across France. Certainly, one of the highlights was the opportunity to celebrate the October 1st feast day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux right in the heart of Lisieux. We visited her childhood homes in Alençon and Lisieux, the Carmel where she spent her religious life (where she wrote Story of a Soul), and the Basilica where her relics (and relics of her siblings and parents) were displayed for veneration.
OCTOBER 24
Little Tappers
Inspired by some of her young nieces who took an interest in tap dancing right before her very eyes, Julia Monnin dusted off her childhood tap shoes (she danced from ages 4–14) and started a “Little Tappers” group for young girls (ages 4-11) in the Fall of 2025. During these most joyful monthly sessions, the girls learn a little about St. Thérèse, journal, pray together, and of course tap. It’s such a delight!

NOVEMBER 3
In Persona Christi Pilgrimage to Cincinnati
We partnered with our friends at Silver Cross Catholic Store and Holy Face of Jesus Parish on November 3 for another “In Persona Christi” Pilgrimage to Cincinnati. Fr. Andrew Reckers joined us and 43 pilgrims as we toured the Cathedral Basilica where the priests in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are ordained and the seminary where they are formed. This is the third year we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to host this pilgrimage. It’s quickly becoming one of our favorite offerings!
NOVEMBER 22
Prayerful Planning Workshop
After a test run in February of 2025, we were thrilled to host a “Prayerful Planning” workshop in which several women (mostly young mothers with young families) joined us to learn tips and strategies on how to plan as a fruit of prayer and even a way of prayer so as not to let the work and “to-do’s” of the day (and one’s life) become overwhelming. This workshop tied basic planning strategies into the life of prayer and offered practical suggestions for the “how to” part. And, as a fruit of our prayerful planning events, WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS! We will be publishing our very own JRM Planner for 2027! Preorders will begin the summer of 2026.
DECEMBER 5
New Author Contract – The Clutter by Kara Danaher
In early December, we signed our second author contract for the year, this time with author Kara Danaher, who shares “the story of her soul” in a unique, short story kind–of–a–way. As readers ponder the depths of Kara’s beautifully written short story called The Clutter, they’ll also get glimpses of her poems and journal entries that were at the heart of inspiring the tale. We are thrilled to introduce you to Kara and to give her this outlet to share her soul’s journey with you. Funding for Kara’s book will begin in February of 2026. Click here for more details.
DECEMBER 18
New Blog –Though the Fig Tree By Maria Valentina Almeida
After months of prayer and discernment, we began officially working with Maria Valentina Almeida in mid-December of 2025, to help publish her weekly blog titled Though the Fig Tree. In these posts, Maria will reveal her journey through illness, endurance, and deepening trust in God. Her reflections explore patience, surrender, and the quiet strength of choosing faith while waiting for healing. It’s such an honor to be walking with Maria. She is a young adult living in a season of waiting—waiting for healing, clarity, and God’s timing. In her words, “Through my experience with chronic kidney disease, I’ve learned that faith is often forged in surrender. This blog is a testimony to choosing trust, gratitude, and praise, even when the fig tree does not blossom.” You can subscribe to Maria’s blog by clicking here. Her first post is scheduled to be released February 20, 2026.
DECEMBER 25
Recognizing the JRM Writers
As 2025 came to its close, we realized in awe that since our founding in January of 2019 we are on pace to have published 10 Books, 3 Blogs, and a Letter Mailing subscription by year end 2026. That’s right, in these seven years of JRM’s journey, we’ve been blessed to welcome nine writers to the JRM family; nine beautiful souls all answering the Lord’s gentle invitation to “spread His love by sharing the story of their soul, one intimate moment at a time.” This work is so special! What a blessing it is to serve our good and gracious God through this ministry. You can view short bios of all of our writers and find links to their individual subsites to learn more about them by visiting journeysrevealed.com/writers-speakers.
In addition to all of the above, it seems noteworthy to mention that we sat down one-on-one with 23 people at 68 different Spiritual Companionship meetings in 2025. (You can learn more about this JRM ministry here.) We also had 22 meetings with 7 different men and women discerning the possibility of sharing their writings with others. Additionally, we spoke at 16 events in 2025 which connected us with over 400 people. We also invoked the intercession of our 6 patron saints during novenas mailed to our “Prayer and Inspiration” subscribers leading up to their feast days throughout the year. As mentioned at the beginning, 2025 was truly a year of hope for us. Thank you again for sharing His great love with us as we continue to share this great love of His with others. Here’s to following wherever our good Lord leads in 2026!
Do you feel called to join us in our mission? There are many ways to get involved, but please start by praying for us and for the fruitfulness of our ministry. The financial support we receive from generous donors is also deeply appreciated. There are significant costs associated with publishing books, hosting events, and providing the resources writers and speakers need to share the story of their soul. Click here to offer your gift and to learn more.
To sustain our apostolate, our funding need for 2026 is $50,000. Do you feel called to help us reach our goal?
